Hand Painted Ceramics are new to my site and new to my process!

Ceramic Vessels

I have always had a big love for ceramics, and right now I'm sure you've noticed that they are having a "moment" in home decor.  As a creative artist, I always want to experiment and create new things, but unfortunately sometimes things get in the way of our never ending ideas and dreams.  The reason I haven't ventured into the world of ceramics before is actually due to my sensitive skin issues, as I struggle with ezcema when I am in contact with too much water and materials.

But that won't stop me completely!  I have had a vision of creating multi purpose painted ceramic vessels for so long, that I decided to design them and hire a local ceramist (Mongey Ceramics) to create my visions.  From there, I collaborated with her on how I could paint them using underglaze, and she finished the firing process after that.  I could not be more happy with the finished product, and have already almost sold out of my first batch!  The soft coral colour palette is complementary to your home, I envision these being used as a vase and a vessel for anything in your life, or on their own as a decor display item.  Think: kitchen utensils, hair brushes, paint brushes, phone chargers that you want to hide... anything!  A gorgeous gift idea or treat for yourself, and at $60 each I hope they don't break the bank.

You can still pickup one of my ceramics while they last, and stay tuned for when I release a new batch in a new colour palette this Spring.
